Arm lift surgery, or brachioplasty, is a cosmetic procedure designed to improve the appearance of the upper arms by removing excess skin and fat between the armpit and the elbow.
The Procedure.
This procedure can be performed under epidural anesthesia combined with sedation or under general anesthesia, depending on what is agreed upon with the anesthesiologist during the preoperative consultation. Liposculpture is often performed in the area, and incisions are made along the inner part of the arm and/or the armpit to remove the excess skin.

After Surgery.
During the recovery period, it is normal to experience swelling, bruising, and pain. Recovery time varies depending on each patient’s progress.
It is essential to follow the medical recommendations and the instructions provided by your plastic surgeon.
The use of a compression garment is recommended for two months, and any exercise or physical exertion should be avoided during this time to ensure proper healing.
